Compliance Programs

UNM is committed to its mission of education, research, and service through an ethics and compliance-based environment.  While all members of the UNM community share the responsibility of acting with integrity and exercising sound judgment, CEEO’s Compliance Program is aimed at providing guidance to departments and individual leaders, as well as addressing compliance concerns across campus.

The Compliance Program for UNM’s main and branch campuses is administered by the Chief Compliance Officer. To guarantee independence, the Chief Compliance Officer reports functionally to the UNM Board of Regents and administratively to the President. This dual reporting requirement allows the Compliance Program to be free from interference and empowered to obtain the information needed to perform the work.
